This was one of the worst Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We expected a relaxing family vacation but instead dealt with one issue after another. Within hours of arriving, we found the refrigerator wasn’t cooling (only the freezer worked), the dishwasher was broken, and there were multiple dead cockroaches downstairs. Although the home is walking distance to the beach, it only had 3-4 towels and no washer or dryer, which are essential for a beach rental. That night, a loud thumping noise inside the walls made it nearly impossible to sleep, and one bedroom stayed around 80°F, leaving our kids hot and sweaty. We also found live insects, loose trim, an unsecured mirror, unstable furniture, and missing A/C remotes. Mar de Cortez Rentals showed little concern, offered no replacement property, and refused to refund the unused nights after we left early. I cannot recommend this property or rental company.
